Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We stopped by this lovely salumeria in Noto and absolutely loved it! We had two panini that were incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the tiramisu was truly exceptional — one of the best we’ve ever had. The lady working there is the sweetest; she made the whole experience even nicer with her warmth and kindness. A perfect little spot for a delicious breakfast in Noto! Highly recommend."
"On a recent rip to Noto and its historic center we had lunch at Salumeria Ducezio twice, because it warranted a return trip to try more of their offerings and because we were treated so nice by Antonetta and Samina. They were gracious thru the language differences and prepared beautiful and elegant platters since we ordered off the menu and just chose items from the display cases. Delicious vegetable dishes and cheeses and bruschettas that they created for us."
"Amazing lunch - we had the cheese & meat board which was completely delicious - selection of ham, mortadella, salami, pancetta, cheeses, caponata and little bruschette. The kids had a panino and reportedly the most tasty tomatoey lasagne ever! It was super-busy so the friendly and efficient service deserves the biggest thumbs-up. Strongly recommended"
"Magnificent lasagne of a generous portion filled me up. Great service from Carla who was friendly. Wish we were here longer to try more off their variety of fresh produce."
"Amazing sandwich! Helpful staff - despite language barrier we understood eachother. Wonderfully accommodating and friendly. 10/10, bread was immense"
"So delicious we enjoyed bruschetta and panninis, all very fresh and super tasty. Thank you!"
"We were close by and paid this place a visit - and it was really, really delicious! We had a panini and an orange juice each. All ingredients were of really high quality, which was visible directly when entering as they were shown in the counter. The juice was as fresh and tasty as it gets. We‘ll definitely come over the next days as well!"
"If you’re in Noto and love authentic and affordable food, do not miss Salumeria Ducezio. This little gem of a deli is packed with the flavors of Sicily – cheeses, cured meats, fresh breads, prepared salads, and a thoughtful selection of local wines. You can order a variety of lunch and dinner items – today’s special was lasagna – but we opted for panini, along with a side of olive salad and a beautiful bottle of wine from Noto. Everything looked incredible, and choosing wasn’t easy. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. The woman behind the counter was so kind and incredibly helpful. We don’t speak much Italian, but somehow we made it work. Between her patience, a few generous patrons who helped interpret, and the magic of Google Translate, we managed to communicate just fine – and even shared a few smiles along the way. We brought everything back to our apartment and enjoyed one of our favorite meals of the trip. The bread alone deserves applause. It seemed like a pizza-style dough formed into a flat loaf, sliced lengthwise and filled generously with exceptional cheeses, meats, and accompaniments – mine included sun-dried tomato. I believe she finished it with a drizzle of local olive oil. The result? Bread that was perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and filled with bold, balanced flavor. The food was outstanding – but the warmth, care, and genuine hospitality made it even better. We ended our visit with a hug for the woman behind the counter. That's how good it was. We loved both the experience and the meal so much that we simply had to write this review. Five stars!!!"
